The tenders for the buildings were called on March 1. Soon, final decision will be taken in a CRDA meeting and LOAs (Letter of Authorisation) will be given to contract agencies.

The Assembly building will be constructed in super block E of Government Complex in 103.76 acres. The building will be in 11.21 lakh sq ft area. Apart from basement and parking, the structure will have three levels.

The High Court will come up in super block F in 42.36 acres. It will be spread in an area of 20.32 lakh sq ft. The structure will have a basement, parking and seven floors.

This apart, the CRDA is trying to call for tenders prior to the Prime Minister’s visit for the Iconic Towers which are vital for governance. As the Towers’ structures are different and complicated, the CRDA has to get SOR from the government.

A lot of steel is used in such structures. Clearances are yet to come regarding construction costs. There will be clarity on the matter in 2,3 days though. After that, tenders will be called for the five Towers.
