Amaravati construction to begin with Downtown!

On the lines of New York and Chicago, Amaravati will also have ‘Amaravati Downtown’ which is the commercial hub of the state’s upcoming capital. The foundation stone for the capital will be laid by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Vijaya Dasami day.

According to Seed Development Master Plan Report put up by Singapore team, the construction of Amaravati will begin with the downtown. Finishing the commercial district first will trigger the activity in the capital and so it is taken as the first priority.

The Downtown will have broad sidewalks and cycle lanes and will be connected through various means of public transit. The ground floor of the buildings in Downtown will house retail outlets, restaurants, shopping malls and entertainment centers.
