Amaravati Construction To Start On This Date?

The construction of Andhra Pradesh’s capital city, Amaravati, may begin on December 1. According to Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Narayana, the construction would cost around Rs. 60,000 crores.

Speaking at a recent event in Vijayawada, Narayana said that the government is currently reviewing the situation of Amaravati, and the process may take up to three months.

After studying the current situation, the construction of the capital city would begin. Narayana stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu urged officials to complete Amaravati’s construction within four years.

Narayana revealed that the government is planning to construct a 50-acre boating reservoir in the 300-acre Shakamuru Central Park.

The government is also planning to set up water lakes across 500 acres in Neerukonda. Buffer zones would be created for all water zones.

Narayana stated that infrastructure projects and 360 km of roads and utilities worth Rs. 41,000 crores would be constructed. He highlighted that the government is promoting Blue and Green Projects in Amaravati.

Narayana emphasized that the government is designing software to enable a single-window system for granting all necessary permissions, making things simpler for real estate developers and other investors.

He went on to add that the officials are currently studying various policies that are being implemented in 11 different states, to implement better policies in the town planning department of Amaravati.
