Amaravati Farmers Played With Fire And Struggling To Douse It

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made some harsh comments at a Protest of Amaravati Farmers in Errabalem the other day. “When they came after Praja Vedika, you thought it is not out business. Whey they tried to drown my house, you thought its not our problem. I said that day, it will not stop there. And now, he came to your doorstep to crush your future and you are panicking,” Chandrababu said.

“I did not make this area as capital and develop expecting you would vote to me. I will fight for you no matter what,” Naidu added. Naidu’s words sound very harsh especially as the farmers are in extreme distress but they make a lot of sense. Chandrababu Naidu has done something unimaginable for the area. He brought the Capital against all odds.

They were benefitted immensely and their future generations as well. Naidu envisaged a Mega-City connecting Vijayawada and Guntur making it a Growth Engine to Andhra Pradesh. The people of other areas saw that differently. Thanks to the Propaganda Machines, Amaravati as seen an attempt to benefit a particular Caste.

But the tragedy for Naidu is that even the locals could not see the benefits and facts. They did not care to vote for TDP and even Lokesh is defeated. The results TDP got in Krishna and Guntur are something horrendous. Even though it may be harsh at this moment, Naidu’s comments may be justified from his Point of View.
