M9News Team has toured Amaravati six times in the last couple of years and the good thing about it is we find progress in the ongoing works every time we go there. The roads leading to the interim secretariat are simply the best but the connecting roads from Vijayawada are yet to be developed in the same standard. The surroundings of the Secretariat in 8 kilometers radius is always buzzing with activity with some big constructions including the Government Complex, MLA Quarters (Check Photos) etc coming up.

The Campuses of VIT and SRM Universities have surprised the locals with the progress and they are already taking classes. The 300 Crore BR Shetty Medi City is also being constructed at a brisk pace which will open gates for the new employment oppurtunities in the area.
As of now Amaravati is getting ready for its full-time administration capital and also the government is looking at educational institutions and World-Class medical facilities in the area which will also increase the footfalls to the Capital area. Thereby ushering the economic growth. The entire area is bustling with construction activity but somehow the state government is keen on keeping it away from the media glare.
