Amazon has announced that Amazon Air will be used to transport the cargo goods and Amazon orders across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and other cities.
Amazon Air had been operation in the US and Europe for the last 8 years and India is only the third country to get the service which will greatly boost Amazon’s delivery service across the nation.
Amazon has partnered with Quikjet Cargo Airlines to launch Air freight services and is using the Boeing 737-800 in its fleet. Amazon also confirmed that it will use the Air cargo service.
“Amazon is thrilled to launch Amazon Air in India to facilitate our growing customer base with a great selection, low prices, and faster deliveries. We’re looking forward to it” Sarah Rhodes, Vice President of Amazon Air Global said.
