Ambitious TS government once again resort to land sale!

Telangana government is gearing up for one more auction of government lands to make some quick bucks. The government will be auctioning 10.29 acres in 38 parcels on the block in Hyderabad district. These lands are in Shaikpet, Khairatabad, Asifnagar, Bandlaguda, Saidabad and Secunderabad,

The government is expecting to raise Rs 180 crore in the second phase auction in which the 38 parcels will be between 40 square yards and 4,840 sq yards. These 38 parcels are totally litigation-free land were being protected from land sharks by constructing compound walls. Hyderabad district administration has instructed the tehsildars to keep vigil on the land until the sale is done.

In the first phase, the government had intended to auction 17.32 acres located in 16 mandals in November 2015 but finally only auctioned 2.32 acres. There were no takers for even 2.32 acres over different areas of Hyderabad, crushing the hopes of the KCR government. They are hoping that this auction will be different.
