American e-commerce major stunned in India

Leading e-commerce major, Amazon had revised its returns policy. Earlier the company used to offer, 30 days no questions asked returns policy for its mobile phone customers in India. But very soon they realized that it is prone to misuse.

A very good percentage of customers are returning the phones after using them for one month. As a policy obligation, the company had to take back the phones in not salable condition.

The company changes the policy to a 10 days window and it can be exchanged only for any manufacturing defect. 30 days no questions asked returns policy remains in other countries where Amazon is doing business. However this change did not go with the social media as they say the company is insulting the Indian customers with this new policy.
