Amit Shah Questions KCR’s Snap Polls Idea

BJP President Amit Shah will blow the Elections Conch in Telangana with a Public Meeting in Mahabubnagar. On the sidelines of this meeting, the BJP Chief questioned the rationale behind KCR pushing Telangana to face two Elections in the span of Six Months or even less. This comes at time when many believe that Center has extended all sorts of help to KCR.

“K Chandrasekhar Rao had supported one nation, one election but today his party has changed its stand and has forced a small state to bear expense of two polls (state assembly&Lok sabha). I want to ask Telangana CM, why have you put such an expense on the people of Telangana?,” Amit Shah Questioned the Chief Minister in Hyderabad.

It is an open secret that KCR went forward only after Center assured him that the Elections will happen by November. To reciprocate for this help, the saffron party is hoping that TRS will join NDA if they fall short of the numbers. Further, the rise of TRS will mean that Congress is decimated which will benefit BJP indirectly. For now, getting KCR’s help and defeating Congress is the sole agenda.
