Amit Shah’s UP Strategy Influenced KCR?

Telangana Rashtra Samiti Supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao seems to have studied the Social Engineering Model employed by BJP President Amit Shah in Uttar Pradesh where the Saffron Party bagged a massive victory in 2017.

KCR just allotted two seats to Muslims and gave away the rest of the seats to all the castes in Hindus taking into consideration the social conditions in the state. BJP did not give a Single seat to any Muslim in 403 seats of UP Assembly.

Also, KCR did not get carried away by giving more seats to his own Velama Community. Reddy community got the most, 33 seats and Kammas got 10 in the first list announced. OBCs got most seats in GHMC area where they are present in influential numbers.

TRS fielded Hindu Candidates in MIM Stronghold as well. This may be to benefit MIM by dividing the Hindu vote. The rest of the candidates will be announced in 10 days or so and KCR is expected to continue the same trend in that list as well.
