Shah’s Appointment To Lokesh: For BJP’s Benefit?

The other day, Nara Lokesh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the meeting has created ripples in the state. YSR Congress is already worried if the Central Government will take Chandrababu’s side in the ongoing tussle.

Also, it is a question why the appointment has come after 30 days. Speculations are if that has to do something with the Telangana elections.

Even though not necessary, we can see Purandeshwari and Kishan Reddy, the BJP Presidents of both the Telugu States in the pic. We can discount Purandeshwari to some extent because she is a family member. But why Kishan Reddy?

There is a popular impression that BJP is hand in glove with Jagan Mohan Reddy in jailing Chandrababu Naidu. There is a visible anger in the settlers of Telangana as well in this issue.

This meeting seems like a ploy to send a message that BJP is not involved.

Purandeshwari first posted the pic of the meeting on X and in that very post, she wrote, “Those who blame the Centre need to reply as to why Amit Shah ji would give an appointment to Lokesh if the BJP was behind the arrest!”.

The intention is clear. We will have to see how the voters take this damage control.
