Amit Shah’s strategy session for T-BJP

BJP National President Amir Shah is scheduled to visit Hyderabad twice within a fortnight, once on May 29 and then again on June 10. The state unit of the BJP had pinned high hopes on his visit to change the party’s fortunes. Amit Shah had called for a state level meeting scheduled on that day. Party leaders from village level upwards, will join him for a strategy session.

The state unit leaders are taking inspiration from Haryana and Assam where the party got going from four and five seats in the two assemblies to 47 and 86 seats respectively. They want to use the next two years to become a formidable force in Telangana with the brand value of PM Narendra Modi.

However it may not be so easy as the ruling TRS has painted all the 10 districts with indeliable pink now. They need a capable leader to take on KCR. Neither Kishan Reddy nor the current President Lakshman seem to be capable of doing that. We will have to see if Amit Shah can do the trick!
