Anam Meets Jagan in Lotus Pond

Anam Ramanarayana Reddy who is disgruntled with TDP high command reportedly met Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy the other day in Lotus Pond. Jagan who is doing a Padayatra in East Godavari was in Hyderabad to attend the Court Proceedings.

Anam Rama Narayana Reddy was never vocal against Jagan. However, his brother, Vivekananda Reddy used to be. After Viveka’s demise, Rama Narayana Reddy is now keen on joining the Opposition Party. Anam was to join YSR Congress the last month but then, his former Cabinet colleague, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana has intervened and tried to bring him into BJP.

After all the calculations, Anam decided to join YSR Congress. Anam became a minister for the first time in NTR cabinet in 1985. After losing 1989 elections, he joined Congress party in 1991 after Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy became the CM. He won all the elections from 1999 to 2009. Finally did not contest in 2014 after the State Bifurcation.
