Andhra eyes 70000 Crore Assets in Telangana!

The recent Supreme court’s ruling about Andhra Pradesh entitled to have a share in all the institutions listed in the Schedules IX and X of the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, brought lot of joy to Andhra Pradesh. There are more than 120 institutions listed in Schedule IX and X and almost all of them were taken over by the Telangana government.

AP is gearing up to lay stake in all those, the move would likely to fetch the AP government assets worth over Rs 70,000 crore. Supreme asked both the governments to sit across the table and resolve the issue. If not, the Central Government should involve on the advice of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

On the other side, Telangana government is shell shocked with this ruling and is gearing up to file a review petition in the apex court. Where in TDP government claims that this is the single biggest achievement of the TDP government and is confident that AP will also win the case even for the review petition.
