AP Assembly Passes GST amid Din

The leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Jagan Mohan Reddy a few days ago thundered that he will not let the assembly function and did exactly the same when the house sat for passing the GST bill. The YSR Congress MLAs stormed the Speaker’s Well and were constantly sloganeering against the government.

However, the proceedings of the house continued amidst the din and the bill is passed. The Speaker adjourned the house sine die. What is disheartening that the Opposition MLAs were making running commentary even when the house is paying homage to the deceased members and previous members.

The house also amended the Public Service Act to give Deputy Collector Post to PV Sindhu who has got Olympic Medal Having Completed the Assembly session, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is expected to fly to New Zealand along with his family for Summer Vacation.
