First Proposal for Amaravati's Master Developer

Three Singapore companies – Ascendas, Synbridge and Sembcorp have formed a consortium and evinced their interest in being the Master Developer of the seed capital of Amaravati. The consortium reportedly sent a proposal under Swiss Challenge method to the state government and it is currently being studied.

The three companies are famous Township companies in Singapore. It is known that Singapore companies Jurong and Surbana have developed the Master Plan of Amaravati. On the other side, the selection process of the architect of iconic buildings in Amaravati is also going on.

These two proposals should be finalized by early next year and the construction is likely to start in June next year. The government is ambitious to complete the ‘Government Complex’ by 2018. The state government wants to show this complex as its achievement while they go for the next election.
