Crucial February For Three Capitals

There are rumours that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on shifting to Vishakapatnam this Ugadi. There is a confusion about how he would do that. Until recently, we heard that Jagan will shift to Vizag with no mention of the Capital.

That means Vishakapatnam will be the Capital in Spirit but not on paper. That will subvent any legal issues and at the same time will serve purpose, the Government believes.

But there is another speculation that the Government will bring back a new three capitals bill in the upcoming assembly session in February.

Andhra Pradesh Assembly will sit for the Budget session in February for close to 25 days. But then, there are doubts if the Government can do that since the issue is subjudice.

Either way, we are going to see a crucial development regarding the Capital issue in the next month. This move can set the tone for the upcoming elections.
