From Shortage To Normal, AP Fuel Situation Improves Fast

There is relief across Andhra Pradesh as petrol and diesel supply has improved significantly, bringing the fuel situation close to normal.

According to official data, out of 4,345 petrol bunks in the state, only 47 are currently without stock. Most fuel stations are now operating normally, and the long queues seen over the past few days have reduced.

Fuel companies have stepped up supply to stabilise the situation. Around 3,714 kilolitres of petrol and 7,107 kilolitres of diesel were supplied to petrol bunks. From this, outlets have already distributed 1,168 kilolitres of petrol and 2,086 kilolitres of diesel to consumers.

On the ground, the situation has improved across most districts. However, a few areas are still facing minor issues. West Godavari, Kadapa and Tirupati districts continue to have more than 10 bunks showing “No Stock” boards, and officials are working to restore supply there.

In contrast, districts like Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Polavaram and Guntur have reported full stabilisation, with all petrol bunks having sufficient stock.

In the remaining districts, the situation is largely under control, with only one or two bunks reporting temporary shortages.

Overall, the fuel disruption is easing quickly, with supply improving and demand pressure reducing. Authorities are now focusing on resolving the last few pockets of shortage to fully normalise the situation.

From panic to normalcy, the turnaround shows how quickly supply and confidence can restore balance.
