The Experts Committee headed by Retired IAS Officer, Sujatha Rao submitted its report to Andhra Pradesh Government about the improvement of Medical Services in the State, especially in Government Hospitals. Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had decided to bar all the Government Doctors from Private Practice.

A majority of Government doctors are known for doing Private Practice and coming late or not coming to the Government Hospitals. Due to that, the services in the Government hospitals are fast degrading. So, this decision will solve the problem, the Committee opined.
