AP Government To File Contempt Against Center in Supreme

Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to file a contempt petition in the Supreme Court against the central government regarding its orders on sharing of assets of 9th and 10th Scheduled institutions. Interesting TDP is the part of NDA Government at the center.

Earlier, Supreme Court instructed the Center to ensure that the assets between AP and Telangana states on the population basis and not on the location basis. But then, Center had twisted the Courts order much to the disappointment of AP Government.

It has ordered that the movable and immovable assets should be bifurcated on a location basis, funds of these institutions should be bifurcated between the two states on a population basis. Opposing this order of the Center, AP government is going to file a contempt petition in Supreme.
