AP High Court Serious on YSRCP MLAs Irresponsibility

Andhra Pradesh High Court had dressed down the ruling party MLAs who have resorted to the violation of Lockdown Rules. Earlier, the high court served notices to four YSR Congress MLAs – Roja (Nagari), Sanjeevaiah (Sullurpeta), Madhusudhan Reddy (Srikalahasthi), and Vidadala Rajini (Chilakaluripeta) on this issue.

The court was serious about the MLAs for violating the rules. “You should be a model to the people but you yourself violated the rules,” the court said. The counsel representing the Government tried to defend the Ruling Party MLAs saying that they are only trying to interact with the people in difficult times.

The court refused to buy the argument and asked the Government why it should not order a high-level inquiry since the Government is not serious about this issue. The counsel representing the Government asked some more time to respond to this issue. This is really a tragedy that the Ruling Party MLAs and the Government had to get lessons from the high court on basic things like this.
