The state has exhausted its annual loans limit in just six months. According to the budget, Andhra Pradesh proposed to take loans to the tune of 48,724.14 Crores in this year but in the six months so far, it had already availed 49,263.34 Crores loans.
One of the most backward states in the country, Bihar has taken 30,407 Crores. The neighboring Tamil Nadu has taken only 18,726.34 Crores in the same six months.
Telangana has taken only 21,173.23 Crores loan in the same period with aggressive welfare schemes.
Andhra Pradesh loans will be shocking if the corporation loans are added. Tragedy is that these loans are for freebies and very minimal towards infrastructure creation.
