The AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) signed agreements with global giants Oracle and Schneider Electric to train 4 lakh youth across the state by 2028. The AP IT Minister was present during the signing of MoUs.

The collaboration would equip AP’s youth with skills and transform the state into a national hub for green energy, digital economy and innovation.

24×7 free access to online training of Oracle’s global MyLearn digital platform will be provided as a part of a deal with Oracle. Training will be given in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Oracle Cloud, data science and cybersecurity.

The three-year agreement will give training to 4 lakh youth and will feature a co-branded platform for AP youth. As said earlier, focus will be on women and marginalized groups. The training will help our youth to survive and thrive in a digital economy, said Minister Lokesh.

APSSDC signed an MoU with Schneider Electric to set up 20 advanced training centers across the state along with a flagship 15-crore facility in Mangalagiri and a research center in Anantapur. A power optimisation pilot project will be launched in ASR district.

The goal is to train 9000 youth by March, 2027, in areas like electronics, green energy and sustainable construction through government ITIs, polytechnics and NAC centers.

Minister Lokesh also spoke of the government’s recent deal with TCS and said these partnerships underscore our commitment to building a robust, sustainable economy powered by skilled youth.
