Andhra Pradesh: The Only State Where BJP Draws A Blank?

There is a lot of discussion going on about what could be the situation at the Center post May 23rd. BJP is hopeful that its recent laurels at the Border has turned the tide in favour of it and they are likely to cross the Simple Majority on their own or with the help of their current allies. Meanwhile, the Opposition is hoping for a Hung.

Regional Players like KCR and Jagan Mohan Reddy are hoping for a hung which would lead to a 96 like Situation making KCR the Prime Minister. At this point, Eenadu Published an interesting item which compares the Estimates of BJP and the Opposition.

BJP is expecting 310 Seats while the Opposition is confident of confining BJP only to 178 Seats. At this juncture, both these estimates looks like wishful thinking. One interesting aspect in this Table is that Andhra Pradesh will be the only State where BJP will draw a blank both in terms of their expectations and Opposition Estimations.

In the other Telugu State Telangana, BJP is expecting that it has got chances in Five Seats while the Opposition thinks the Saffron Party will draw a blank. In all probability, BJP is likely to register a Zero in Telangana as well. In all probability, the Telugu States are the only states BJP may have Zero Presence. They have themselves to blame for this fiasco.
