AP BJP’s shameless defense of Center’s injustice!

BJP State Unit is still trying various face saving methods to defend the Central government’s meager allocations to the truncated state. The state is bubbling with anger with injustice meted to the state by the BJP led Central government. BJP state unit had released an explanation regarding the allocations. It said that 100 Crore to Polavaram is misread by the state government, but the 100 Crore is only for Polavaram authority and funds for the project will be allotted in Supplementary budget.

They also say that Center will be allocating funds accordingly to the state capital once the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is submitted. The state unit also mentioned about various educational institutes sanctioned to the state like IIT,IIM,AIMS etc. But did not explain when and how these institutes will be completed with the meager funds released so far.

The explanation also said center included 7 mandals of Telangana to Andhra Pradesh to enable easy construction of Polavaram Project. They also said that center showed special interest on selecting AP for 24X7 Power Supply. But the fact is that AP got benefited only to extent of 300 MW from center under this project.
