AP Cabinet Gives Nod To Rs 9500 Cr Projects

The AP Cabinet meeting chaired by CM Chandrababu on Thursday morning at the state Secretariat has concluded. The meeting covered 44 agenda points, and the Cabinet approved 506 projects worth Rs 9500 crore.

Major approvals included integrated water projects under MAUD and the construction of Lok Bhavan and the Assembly Durbar Hall. The Cabinet also cleared proposals related to the Governor’s office, staff quarters and guest houses. It further approved land allotments for various companies.

The Cabinet sanctioned Rs 532 crore to link the Seed Access Road to NH 16. Administrative clearance was also given for constructing check dams over the Paleru river in Kuppam. Promotions for 417 language pandits in the Girijan Welfare Board were approved as well.

The draft bill on Andhra Pradesh prisons and correctional services was discussed and passed. Decisions taken during the State Investment Promotion Board meeting were also approved. Additionally, the Cabinet cleared Rs 20,000 crores worth of investments for 26 companies.
