AP Capital City: The 1st people’s capital in the World!

As plans are being drawn for the upcoming capital, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is planning to make each and every one in the state as partners in the capital city. The state government is planning to setup a fund for the capital and invite donations from people for the constructions. The donations can be in the form of a brick, cement, sand or even through manual work.

More than the funds, Chandrababu is mooring the idea as it will bring the sense of belongingness to people and the feeling that capital is being constructed by the sweat of the people. Government is also planning to name some buildings on the name of donors who come up with big donations.

Also Naidu wants people to select the building plans for the capital. Once the Master plan is submitted, the government will get the architects to come up with 2-3 plans for Secretariat, Assembly, Raj Bhavan, High Court. These will be displayed to public and the final design will be that liked by maximum number of people.
