CID Approaches ACB Court For Lokesh’s Arrest

APCID approached the ACB Court in Vijayawada asking permission to arrest Nara Lokesh.

The CID has filed a petition in the court alleging that Lokesh is violating the conditions of the 41A notice served to him in the Inner Ring Road Case.

In the petition, it is mentioned that Lokesh is trying to blackmail the investigation officers in the name of Red Book.

“Lokesh is threatening to send the officials to jail in the name of Red Book. This is highly objectionable and can hinder the progress of the case. We request the court to take the ‘Red Book’ statements seriously,” the CBI said.

According to the terms of the 41A notice, the person who received them should not make any statements influencing the investigation.

In his Padayatra, Lokesh is seen mentioning about the Red Book. He is saying that the names of politicians and officials who were troubling the TDP cadre and the General people are being written and they will be dealt with seriously when Chandrababu Naidu comes to power.

It is more of a political statement or posturing. Lokesh did not mention anything about writing the names of Investigation officers in Chandrababu Naidu’s or his own cases.

But then, the Government is using it to their benefit in the court. We will have to see what the court decides!

TDP and Janasena alliance picked momentum with the massive success of the Vishakapatnam Public meeting.

Both parties are finalizing the seat-sharing too and are ready to hit the streets.

When TDP gained momentum, Jagan arrested Chandrababu Naidu and derailed it for three months. Now, they are trying the same approach with Lokesh as Chandrababu Naidu has temporary protection in the courts.
