AP Government Serves Notices to the Center

CRDA has issued notices to the Union Government about the delay in setting up various Government institutions in Amaravati. Lands were allocated to these institutions a long ago with the promise to set up them in a time-bound manner.

Lands were allocated for Central University, SBI, LIC, FCI, Postal, Public Works and others. But then, there is no progress on ground whatsoever. With that, CRDA has written letters to various departments to return the lands.

According to the MOUs signed, the construction should begin within three months of the lands handover but there is Zero progress even after years. So, the notices were issued. It has to be seen how they respond to these notices.
