AP Govt saddles Real Estate in Vijayawada!

In a significant step, Andhra Pradesh government has decided to stop the approval of new layouts in Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri stretch until the master plan of the state capital is prepared. The Municipal department has given official instructions (in writing) regarding the same. Government has already given oral instructions regarding the same a month back. This move will stall the real estate push in the region after the capital announcement.

However this move will as well affect the registrations income to the Government but having enough lands for the state capital is the prime importance of the government now. It is already known that the Chandra Babu Naidu’s government is planning to acquire lands for the capital from the farmers and private parties through land pooling method in which they will be given a share in the developed lands in the lieu of giving their lands. However the VGTM zone had witnesses a massive Real Estate growth after the capital announcement and this boom if not saddled will engulf the lands before the government begins land acquisition.
