AP Loan Waiver identification nears end!

Telugu Desam Party’s flagship scheme, Loan Waiver for farmers is finally taking shape. The government and bankers have almost come to an end of the identification of beneficiaries of this scheme.

So far the banks have completed compiling of 30 Lakh farmers details online and 46 Lakh farmers details offline. This data will be uploaded online by the end of this month by correcting mistakes if any and the government is planning to make the beneficiaries list public from November 1st in bank branches and panchayat offices.

Farmers can complain to the officials about any discrepancies and get them resolved. Once the final list is confirmed the government is planning to waive of the promised 1.5 Lakh per family in 5 stages. The government has already transferred 5000 Crores as first installment to Andhra Pradesh Farmers Empowerment Corporation which will take care of the loan waiver.
