AP now forced to levy Entry Tax on Telangana Vehicles!

Andhra Pradesh government which is fighting to stop the entry tax of Andhra Pradesh vehicles coming to Telangana, got confirmed that Telangana government will not budge. AP Bus Operators have gone to the courts against this entry tax but the courts decided it in favour of Telangana.

Sensing that all doors have closed, Andhra Pradesh government is also gearing up to levy entry tax on Telangana vehicles coming to Andhra Pradesh. Official orders regarding this will be out in one or two days.

Since Telangana vehicles have no tax in AP, the demand for those vehicles increased for transportation of goods. Some of the AP vehicles are even canceling their registrations and getting registered in Telangana so as to escape the Entry. So in order to avoid this loss, AP is also going to levy Entry Tax. However this move will increase the cost of living for the people of both the states now.
