AP readies Concept Plan for the capital!

Andhra Pradesh government has finalized the concept plan for the upcoming capital of the state along with the estimated costs. This plan has the state government’s idea and visualization to the Mega project which will be expected to complete by 2024.

The first phase of the project will go on till 2019 and will incur 15570 Crores and the total cost of the project is projected at 19938 Crore. This concept paper will be submitted to the Central government very soon as the the center agreed to bear the expense of the capital according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.

The entire capital construction will go on in nine phases. According to the concept plan, Assembly, Secretariat, Government Offices, CM office, Raj Bhavan, Ministers Quarters, Officials Quarters will all come up at one place. All said and done, now the onus is on the Center to sufficiently fund for the capital construction. The state government is estimating at least 20000 Crore to be allocated in the budget.
