AP to lose 20000 Crores to Telangana!

Telangnaa government is planning to take over all the 107 institutes present in Hyderabad. The Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act mentioned that the services of these institues are to be shared by both the states but nothing about their division. However Telangana is planning to take them over taking the High Court verdict on State Higher Education Council as model for the remaining too.

Andhra Pradesh government is demanding that they should be divided in Population ratio. In case they are given to Telangana, the state government is demanding them to setup in AP too. According to the Reorganization act, this issue should be settled within one year of the state bifurcation. The deadline is nearing and Center had taken no decision regarding this till now.

It is learnt that if all these institutions are given to Telangana. These assets and the funds of the institutions in banks will amount to 20000 Crore approximately will belong to Telangana. Telangana government is also trying to send all the AP employees in these institution back to their states. Center had to interfere and solve this tussle.
