Apollo Facing the Brunt of Jayalalithaa’s Death

Apollo Hospitals which unsuccessfully treated former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa for 74 days is facing the brunt of that. The other day as Cyclone Vardah had its landfall near Chennai, the city has got high-velocity winds and heavy rains fall pushing the city onto its feet.

Sangita Reddy, the Executive Director of Apollo Group took to Twitter and tweeted, “Reach out to @ApolloHospitals at 60601066 or 1066 for emergency #CycloneVardah (sic)”. But then what followed later, she would not have imagined. Tamil Thambis lashed her and the Apollo Hospitals.

In the anger that the hospital could not save their beloved leader and with several conspiracy theories surrounding her death, Twitterati lashed Sangita Reddy and Apollo big time. They even went to the extent of saying that it is better to die in Vardah than to resort to Apollo for help. Apollo’s image took a big toll post Jayalalithaa’s episode.
