APSRTC Goes Innovative Way to Steer out of Trouble!

APSRTC seem to be putting up an impressive show with its recently rolled out, parcel services. The state run bus corporation is charging much less than the private players and the initial response for these services is excellent. And on the other side, RTC had appointed a consultant to further expand this.

The consultant will cut a deal with major e-commerce players to deliver their consignments at cheaper rates bringing in excellent revenues. RTC had a wide network of buses connecting all parts of AP to Telangana and other South Indian Cities like Bengaluru and Chennai which makes things lot easy.

After the state division, APSRTC is already making operating profits and the corporation is keen on reducing its debts burden. The corporation is already establish mini theaters in the major bus stations bringing in additional revenues. There are plans to lease vacant lands of RTC to Petrol Bunks.
