Arrest Imminent for TV9 Ravi Prakash

Raviprakash who is the founder CEO of TV9 is ousted from the Channel after the new management took it over. They have filed cases of forgery and funds misuse on him and the Telangana Police are after him. Raviprakash has been trying for bail in the courts while he is on a run but to of no use.

The Supreme Court today rejected his bail plea. The court asked Ravi Prakash’s counsel to approach the high court once again and also ordered Ravi Prakash to attend before the police for investigation. With this, he will have to surrender or face arrest by the Police.

YSR Congress which does not have cordial relations with Raviprakash has come to Power in Andhra Pradesh and the new promoters of TV9 are pro-TRS. In either way, both the Telugu States are unsafe to him. It looks like after having changed the face of Telugu News Media, Raviprakash has to fight a long legal battle going further.

On the other side, there are rumors about him starting a new inning by acquiring an existing media house and that looks to be difficult for now. As of now, coming out of these cases will be his first priority.
