AP gets a sweet news from Niti Aayog?

If the reports emerging from National media is to be believed, Niti Aayog had suggested the center to give 15000 Crore for the first year deficit of Andhra Pradesh. The state government had decided the fiscal deficit to be 16500 Crores and Niti Aayog had recommended 15000 Crore.

In addition, some special incentives will also be given three north coastal and four Rayalaseema districts and the state would get exclusive tax benefits in the form of reimbursements. All these are the part of Niti Aayog’s report to be submitted to the Prime Minister very soon.

The quantum of package is again the Central government’s prerogative. The cash strapped state had already got 9050 Crore as loans this year. The state government is going to auction bonds on 10th of this month for 550 Crores of extra loans. This package if announced and implemented will come as a huge relief.
