Assembly Secretary files an appeal over Roja’s case!

Assembly Secretary Satyanarayana filed an appeal in Hyderabad High Court over giving relief to Roja from the one year suspension from the house. Since the high court found fault with the wrong section used in the suspension which can not suspend a member beyond that particular, Assembly corrected that.

In this appeal, Assembly Secretary informed that court Roja can be suspended for one year under a new section which will allow suspending an MLA for a period of one year, The government tried to bring the appeal for hearing today itself but it could not due to the busy schedule of the court. The court is likely to take up the case for hearing on Monday.

On the other side, YSR Congress MLCs have staged a walkout from Council over the issue. Mean while, Jagan and other YSR Congress MLAs went to Raj Bhavan to complaint over the government. Since the Governor is not available, they will hand over the complaint to Governor’s Office.
