At 24, PV Sindhu Marks History with Gold

PV Sindhu has created history again and made the Indians proud of her winning BWF World Championship making her Japan opponent to retreat with 21-7, 21-7 in 28 minutes. That’s definitely history by the girl who is just 24 years old.

Like she was proud to be an Indian, we are all proud of her, and she is the first Indian to win BWF gold medal. She crushed Nozomi Okuhara from Japan by winning the two sets with a huge margin. Her masterclass play has got everyone watching the match be in awe of her badminton skills.

This is her fifth medal at various world championships out of the six championships she appeared. Last two years, she couldn’t win the BWF Championship giving space for the talk on her inability to win the gold. Now, she proved she has that thing to do it.

This historic win means, nowadays PV Sindhu is depending more on her skills than depending on the mistakes made by her opponents. Congratulations PV Sindhu for the historic win! Proud!
