Ashok Gajapathi Raju Attacked in Parliament

Parliament today discussed the issue of Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad hitting an Air India Employee and all airlines banning him. Ravindra explained to the house that Air India staff misbehaved with him but Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju did not buy the argument.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju clearly said that Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad is also a passenger and aircraft safety cannot be compromised. After failing to get the assurance of lifting the ban from the minister, Shiv Sena MPs tried to attack the Minister in Lok Sabha itself. Minister Anant Geete also of Shiv Sena also joined them.

Other Ministers – Rajnadh Singh, Smriti Irani and Sushma Swaraj came to Ashok’s rescue and warned the MPs of Shiv Sena. Stunned with this sudden incident, TDP MPs immediately rushed to Ashok Gajapathi Raju and formed a protective huddle around him. Finally, they have escorted him out of the Lok Sabha.
