Avinash Reddy Is In CM’s Protection: YS Sunitha

Former Minister Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter has approached the Supreme Court against the Telangana High Court’s ruling not to arrest MP Avinash Reddy until the 25th of this month.

“A high profile person (Avinash Reddy) was supposed to be arrested in Vivekananda Reddy’s case. CBI is investigating this case due to the special political conditions in the state. He is in the protection of Chief Minister,” Sunitha wrote in the Petition.

“The Supreme Court directed the CBI to complete the investigation by April 30th. But the High Court’s order of No arrest until the 25th will derail the entire investigation. So, we were compelled to approach the Supreme Court,” the petition said.

The Chief Justice Bench will hear the case today.

Avinash Reddy’s father Bhaskar Reddy is already arrested in this case. Avinash Reddy is trying his best to evade arrest.

There is already an impression in the General Public that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to save the accused in this case and now Sunitha’s statement about the CM saving Avinash Reddy will further dent his image.

Meanwhile, efforts are on to derail the case by bringing Viveka’s second wife into the picture.
