Ayodhya Real Estate: Higher Than Hyd?

Ayodhya Ram Mandir is the most talked-about topic in India now and understandably so, following the consecration of the holy temple the other day.

Now, the discussion is about the real estate prospects in reputed areas of Ayodhya which is taking many by surprise. A newspaper clipping of the real estate market in Ayodhya has surfaced on social media and it is going viral.

In the ad, we see a top-billing real estate company listing 1250 Sq. Ft. land for a whopping Rs 1.72 crore. This is almost on par if not more than the average pricing of real estate in Hyderabad, where a square foot in buzzing places like Financial District is medially priced at Rs 8330. The price varies from area to area.

In direct comparison, the per-square-foot pricing in a posh gated community in Ayodhya is higher than what is considered the median pricing in parts of Hyderabad.

There are reports that the real estate prices in Ayodhya will only scale upwards in the next few months as the pilgrimage increases. It is reported that star celebrities from across the country are interested in buying real estate here with the place having a strong spiritual connect, being the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram.
