Bad Road Kills YSR Congress MPP In Krishna District

Andhra Pradesh is having the worst-ever roads in its history right now. Complete focus on freebies means complete neglect of basic infrastructure and as a result, people are witnessing hell on roads.

Now, one such bad road has killed an MPP of the YSR Congress. Telaprolu-Anandapuram road in Unguturu Krishna district had a big pothole right in the middle of the road.

She participated in the Babu Jagjivan Ram Jayanti celebrations at the MPDO office yesterday morning. The accident took place at Anandapuram side road while she was going on a bike with her husband to participate in a private function in the evening.

The MPP was seriously injured while her husband was slightly injured as they fell off the bike due to the pothole. They were rushed to Pinnamaneni Siddhartha hospital.

Prasanna Lakshmi passed away this morning while receiving treatment there.

Prasanna Lakshmi was unanimously elected as Telaprolu MPTC last year and later took over as Unguturu MPP president.

It’s time for those in power to wake up and lay new roads on a war-footing, locals appeal.
