Hindupur MLA and matinee idol Nandamuri Balakrishna has decided to build his house in Hindupur. Till now, he would commute from Hyderabad. Now, he has decided to build a house for himself in the constituency which has sent two generations of actor-politicians to the Assembly from his family.
He did bhoomi puja for the house along with wife Vasundhara. But what sets it aside is this little secret. Balakrishna’s Jubilee Hills house in which he currently resides was built by his father late NTR. So, Balakrishna will be building his first house in Hindupur. That makes it very special, he told media.
Balayya promises it will be a spacious property so that he can meet locals and his party workers regularly at home.
Incidentally, Balakrishna is the second generation of Nandamuri family who is representing Hindupur. His father NTR contested for the first time in 1985 and was voted to the Assembly thrice.
Balakrishna himself won thrice from Hindupur starting in 2014. He won in 2019 and hit a hat-trick in 2024. Given his love for his constituency and his strong bonding with the place, Balakrishna decided to build himself a house in Hindupur.
