Balakrishna To Lead TDP In Rayalaseema!

Telugu Desam Party is severely battered in Rayalaseema in the 2019 elections. It has managed to win only three seats in the region. Besides the high-profile seats of Chandrababu Naidu and Balakrishna, TDP won only one seat i.e., Uravakonda of Payyavula Keshav.

Interestingly, Balakrishna has bettered his majority in 2019 when compared to 2014 even when Chandrababu’s majority has decreased. It looks like Balakrishna has started working to strengthen the party in Rayalaseema. The actor-politician has decided to fight for the rightful share of Rayalaseema in Krishna waters.

Balayya is chairing a Round Table Conference in Hindupur. The agenda of this Round Table Conference is Krishna Water for Rayalaseema, Rights and Demands. TDP leaders of eight Parliamentary constituencies have attended the meeting. Balayya is planning similar meetings in all constituencies of Rayalaseema in a bid to take the party closer to the people.

He is also planning to invite leaders of all parties to these meetings in the coming days. It will be interesting to see how Balakrishna will strike a balance between his film and political commitments.
