Balayya’s Younger Daughter With Two Padma Bhushans

The Padma Awards were announced today and there were mixed reactions from the public. But it was a proud moment for Telugu people as Dr. Krishna Ella and his wife Suchitra Ella, the founders of Bharath Biotic and especially the Covid vaccine, Covaxin, were conferred with the Padma Bhushan Awards.

This is very rare as in the 68 years history of the awards, it was the first time that a husband and wife were given this award. Congratulatory messages have gone viral and Balakrishna’s younger daughter Tejaswini and her husband were seen wishing the couple at a private party.

This is a very great honor and the proud faces of Tejaswini and her husband posing with the Padma Bhushan can be seen in the picture which has now gone viral on social media.

Less than two years after Bharat Biotech began developing Covaxin, close to 22 crore doses of vaccines have been given to Indian and millions of doses exported.

As of now, Bharath Biotech is busy with the testing phase of the Intranasal vaccine called BBV154. With over 160 patents, Bharat Biotech has over 16 vaccines in its portfolio.
