BARC released the Ratings of Telugu News Channels for Week 7 of 2025.
In the 15+ age group in AP and TG, TV9 and NTV are in the first two positions like how it is in for many months now.
The surprise is that Sakshi and ABN are tied for fifth spot in the table.
Last week, Sakshi was slightly ahead of ABN. And this week, they are tied together.
It is interesting to note that both the channels dropped after the elections.
That is expected because the consumption of news (except for the top 2 channels) will drop after the elections.
But then, ABN dropped more than Sakshi and so, it has come to this level. The Channel management probably needs a retrospection.
V6 is in third position and TV5 is in fourth.
In Hyderabad, TV9, V6, TV5, ABN, and NTV are in the first five places. Sakshi is in eighth position.
