Providing transport facility for commuters of Metro rail will be a major challenge for any city but Telangana state has found a very good solution for it. Mahindra and Mahindra company came forward arrange transport facility to metro rail commuters to pick up and drop them from their places to railway stations. The company has agreed to provide battery operated cars suiting the vision of KCR to make the city pollution free.
The company along with the government support will also set up battery recharge stations in various parts of the city to facilitate the battery cars. The first line of Metro Rail from Nagole to Mettuguda will be operational from Ugadi next year. The officials are conducting trial runs in this area in the previous week. The second line of Metro Rail from Miyapur to SR Nagar will be available for public use from August 15, 2015.
