
If these 40 Lakh challans are paid, it will be 50 Crores addition income to Government treasury. Hyderabad Police have decided to open a charge sheet on the vehicle owners which have five or more challans pending.
Before that, Police are planning to check every vehicle when parked in public places for challans and a sticker with pending challans details will be put on such vehicles. Vehicles with stickers will be given a month time to pay those pending challans. If they still fails to pay up, further action will be intiated.
